It looks like a new tea business is coming to Macclesfield.

The long-vacant unit on 14 Chestergate, formerly occupied by Cabin Twenty-Two, has new posters inside regarding a business called UTEA Macclesfield.

Works are ongoing at the store, and according to this Instagram post, UTEA Macclesfield is aiming to open on September 24.

It would be the second site by the independent business, with the cold and hot drinks seller having a pre-existing establishment in Bromley.

They are targeting an opening this month.

The menu for their Macclesfield shop has drinks for sale like fruit tea and a signature product of avocado tea.

They also sell bubble tea, which would follow the trend of other newly-opened Macclesfield bubble tea sellers 2C9 and Pearl T Macc.

Drinks for vegans are also available. More info about the new business can be found HERE and HERE.

UTEA Macclesfield can be followed on Instagram.

UTEA Macclesfield have been contacted for comment.
