'Not one to be missed' - Theatre group gear up for first show since name change

Get your placards ready as Rita and her Dagenham girls prepare to stand up for women's rights.
Bollington Musical Theatre Group are almost ready to welcome audiences to their production of Made in Dagenham.
The show celebrates the story of women who went on strike at the Ford factory in Dagenham in 1968, campaigning for equal pay.
Expect musical numbers such as Everybody Out, This Is What We Want, and Busy Woman.
Directors Diane McIntyre and Matthew Gratton said: "'Made in Dagenham' is a fabulous, feel-good show with a powerful message.
"The music is great, and the show is both hysterically funny and heartbreakingly sad.
"This is not one to be missed."

Made in Dagenham is the society's first show since it changed its name from Bollington Light Opera Group to reflect the change in musical tastes over time.
Steph Evans takes on the lead role of Rita O'Grady, playing opposite Michael Scott as her husband Eddie.
The show is supported by a strong ensemble, with the ladies' chorus taking on the portrayal of the women supporting Rita, while the society's menfolk form the Ford workers and management, including a hilarious addition of a contingent from the USA brought in to break the strike.
The introduction of Prime Minister Harold Wilson and Transport Minister Barbara Castle brings more humour.
The show features a live band conducted by musical director Sheila Kent, to help the cast 'Stand Up' and make their voices heard.

Made in Dagenham arrives at Bollington Civic Hall on Tuesday (May 13), with shows at 7.30pm each night until and including Saturday (May 17).
There is also a matinee on the Saturday at 2pm.
Tickets cost £16 or £14 for concession and are available at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/bolly or via 0333 666 3366.
