An immersive listening party into one of the best-known albums of recorded music, will return for one final time.

In 2023, Jodrell Bank, near Macclesfield, hosted a space-themed listening party for the classic 1973 Pink Floyd album Dark Side of the Moon.

Intended to celebrate the LP's 50th anniversary, the show features screens above and in front of you, with visuals responding to the album which discusses themes of the human condition, time, and mental illness.

The album is closely associated with space, so the home of the Lovell Telescope is the perfect home to celebrate one of the world's best-selling albums.

The experience did so well, that it came back for some 'final' shows in summer 2024.

However, organisers have decided to bring the event back for one new 'final' time this November.

The event takes place at the new First Light Pavilion at Jodrell Bank.

Tickets start from £14, and there will be nine showings for the actual 'final' run of this unique, euphoric event.
