A Macclesfield dance academy's 15th anniversary celebrations, will culminate with an open day this weekend.
Sylk Dance Academy, of Brook Street, Macclesfield was founded by Macclesfield resident Amy Mayers.
The east Macclesfield youth dance school will host an open day this Sunday from 10am, for those interested in joining the award-winning dance school.
"The event on June 30 will allow non members of our studio to take a tour, join in workshops and watch demonstrations from our dancers and teachers," said Amy.
"There will also be lots of other activities to keep everyone entertained throughout the day such as face painting, glitter tattoos, games, crafts and more!
"For just £5 per child (age 3+) you have access for the full day to all workshops, and performances.
"Parents can check out our timetable, chat with our teachers and discover what class options are the best for them.
"From 2pm onwards we will be holding a solos & battles competition where you can see what it's like to be a competitive dancer and win trophies.
"We look forward to meeting lots of new people and having a fun packed day.

Sylk was first based at The Broken Cross Club, before moving to another venue on Union Street which later succumbed to water damage. They are now based on Brook Street.
Their 15th anniversary celebrations included a showcase at the Clonter Opera Theatre, with over 250 people attending to watch our dancers ages five-to-25 performing.
"We celebrated our long term students whom some have been with us for over ten years," added Amy.
*We performed routines in contemporary dance, street dance, breakdance, cheerleading, tricks and have a separate show coming up for our gymnastics teams.
"We are celebrating and reflecting on some very special achievements over the years, from performing at Formula 1 Silverstone to Headlining Justin Bieber's Dance Group 'The Royal Family' on their European tour.
"Our 16th year is set to have some big opportunities for our dancers, cheerleaders and gymnasts and we are looking for new members to come and join our studio and get involved."
