Pedestrian taken to hospital by paramedics after crash on main road
A pedestrian has been taken to hospital following a crash in Macclesfield.
Cheshire Police were called to reports of an incident on The Silk Road on Wednesday (December 18).
Upon arriving at the scene, near McDonald's, at 5pm, officers found there had been a crash involving a car and a pedestrian.
Police have since confirmed that the pedestrian was taken to hospital by paramedics.
It is understood his injuries are 'not believed to be life-threatening'.
The driver of the car, meanwhile, was not injured.
