A Macclesfield brewery is inviting the community in for their second-to-last open tap night of the year.

Wincle Brewery, who are celebrating their 15th anniversary this year, will brave the mild October weather with a jovial get together of great food and drink.

The award-winning Macclesfield beermaker, will hold their next Open Tap Night on Friday October 6.

As well as local beer, there will be Malaysian food van, and the last street food vendor at Wincle Brewing Co. for 2023.

Wincle Brewery employee John explained what the event is all about: "This is our last one of the year featuring street food."

"Jim from Nasi Lemak Manchester has been a regular feature at the brewery and is always incredibly popular.

"He was a sell out over the beer festival and also at the beginning of April when he did our opening night of the tap night season - it felt only fitting to close off the year with him too!

"Jim and his team make a wonderful job of catering to a crowd and is a fitting tribute to our final food pop ups for 2023

"He has been at the brewery a number of times over the years since we started running our regular open tap night. His food is presented in takeaway boxes so people can also enjoy at home.

"We will run one more open tap night on Friday 22nd December 'Carols around the mash tun' with probably a quartet from the Bollington Brass Band - this is also a very popular night and we will firm up our offering for that closer to the night - but we tend to offer free mince pies and singing along with mulled wine and our Christmas beer on tap."

The October 6 Open Tap Night will be at Wincle Brewery, Tolls Farm Barn, Danebridge, Wincle, Macclesfield SK11 0QE.

Turn up from 5pm.

Parking is free on-site, but please come with a designated driver or arrange a taxi or lift back. (Image - Macclesfield Nub News)
