Hundreds of people took to the streets to protest the proposed Adlington new town.
Sunday, January 18, saw the latest demonstration against the plans to build upwards of 14,000 homes in the parish north of Macclesfield.
It proved to be one of the best attended so far, with an estimated 600 people in attendance.
The protest also featured a tractor parade and, for the first time, a milk float - a nod to the 4.5 million litres of milk the area produces every year.
Kasim Awan, one of the organisers, said: "Hundreds of Cheshire residents, dozens of farmers took to the streets to protest against the destruction of their area.
"You may argue this is nimbyism. No, it's an act of preservation for the very thing that gives our areas their character, greenbelt.
"It is not ok to damage this area, just like you wouldn't remove the Beatles from Liverpool, football from Manchester, or Springs from Buxton. Don't take the farms, woodland and deer from Cheshire.
"Farmers, families, old, young, took to the streets in unison because they love their area and they are unwilling to accept what is planned for us."

Photographer Mark Hadfield captured the scenes on Sunday.
He said: "We had an incredible turnout for a January protest and definitely exceeded our expectations given the gloomy weather."

The next protest is planned to take place at 1pm on Sunday, February 15, near the Starbucks in Adlington.
