Macclesfield's cinema-turned-food hall has a new vendor.

Picturedrome on Chestergate has welcomed Chilli B to its lineup of independent traders.

Taking over the kitchen previously occupied by Send Noods, the team at Chilli B are serving up authentic Thai cuisine.

A spokesperson for Picturedrome said: "New to Picturedrome but not new to us, we've been around Chilli B's Steve and May for a long time, since the 1990's in fact when Steve ran the legendary Chiang Rai on the edge of Manchester's China Town.

"They're locals, they live in Wilmslow, but they also have a home in May's home village back in Thailand.

"Their food is not only the genuine article (May has written some of the best Thai cookbooks) it's the best - they've been knocking it out of the park at Mackie Mayor in Manchester for the last five years.

"We're giving Chilli B a warm welcome to Picturedrome, in return, they promise they're gonna spice up our lives."

Chilli B arrived at Picturedrome on Tuesday, July 1.

On the menu you will find pad Thai, drunken noodles, curries, and krapow – all of which can be made vegetarian or vegan.

There is also May's special kow pad and several smaller plates, including spicy prawn crackers, spring rolls and a shiitake mushroom satay.

Picturedrome is located at 102-104 Chestergate, SK11 6DU.
