One of Macclesfield's largest schools have announced a slew of job vacancies.

The Fallibroome Academy are hiring in multiple departments, and we thought we'd round-them all up as part of our weekly Job of the Week Feature - as we couldn't choose just one.

Exams Access Arrangements Administrator

It may sound like a lot of words, but this first job is actually rather straightforward.

This is a key post within the school and requires an individual who is highly organised, resilient, able to go the extra mile and who can work flexibly in line with the demands during busy exam periods.

Experience in admin work and working to deadlines would help with boosting your odds for the role.

The successful candidate will have lead responsibility for arranging, organising and delivering exams for students who are entitled to Access Arrangements.

In a statement, Fallibroome Academy said the following:

"Due to the nature of the timetable for exams, the contract for this job will be based on annualised hours. 

"In addition, we would consider a request for the successful candidate to undertake work as a TA in the time periods that are not spent in this role which would be paid at the same rate."

Salaried Position Based on NJC Grade 5, SCP 7-11 £11.59-£12.47 per hour (plus holiday pay)

Science Technician

A cracking job for the curious mind, this role requires an individual with experience in a science-related employment to join the Science department in this high-achieving school. 

The successful applicant will provide technical and administrative support, including provision of equipment and resources for lessons, the routine maintenance of laboratories and equipment and the ordering/purchasing of consumables.

In a statement, Fallibroome Academy said this about the Science Technician role

NJC Grade 4 (SCP 5-6) Actual Salary Range £16,446-£18,801.

Assistant MIS Developer

The third job in today's round-up is an Assistant MIS Developer role.

"We are looking to appoint a candidate who has both experience of using SIMS in a secondary school and/or a knowledge of database programming," said The Fallibroome Academy.

"However, having both is not necessary but the successful candidate is likely to have knowledge and experience of in at least one of these areas. 

"The role will afford the successful candidate to:

• ·      Develop a detailed knowledge of the operation of a school MIS system
• ·      Develop Microsoft SQL Server skills, XML skills and possibly JavaScript, XML and XSLT skills working with an experienced software developer.
