A mother and her young child were flashed at a park in Macclesfield.

Cheshire Police are investigating reports of a man seen 'masturbating' in South Park on Sunday (May 18).

The victim, Racheal Nicholls, was with her two-year-old son when she noticed the man, stood by the car park, watching her.

She said: "It was very unnerving as I take my two-year-old son to South Park every day.

"Please be careful, I don't know how long this man was watching me and my son."

The victim explained that the flasher, described as a white male, then got in a dark blue hatchback and drove off.

Police are now asking anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesperson said: "At 9pm on Sunday (May 18) police were called to reports of an indecent exposure on South Park Road, Macclesfield.

"The caller reported that she had been walking around South Park with her young child when she witnessed a man who was exposing himself.

"The man fled the scene in a dark blue car.

"Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101, or visit www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us quoting IML 2092900."
