Police release statement following multi-vehicle crash which shut Silk Road

Cheshire Police have released a statement following a crash on the main road into Macclesfield.
Emergency services were called to the Silk Road on Sunday, February 8, following reports of a multi-vehicle crash.
It is understood a stretch of the southbound carriageway had to be closed for some time as a result.
However, police say that no one was seriously injured.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "At 1.20pm police were called to a collision on Silk Road, ,Macclesfield.
"Officers attended and found there had a minor collision involving four vehicles.
"There were no reports of any injuries, and the scene was cleared by 2.15pm."
