Pride poetry night to provide a platform for LGBTQ+ voices

A night of poetry will give a voice to the LGBTQ+ community.
Macclesfield's popular spoken word night, Poetry Pandemonium, is back with a special Pride edition.
Pride and Pandemonium takes place at Mash Guru on Thursday, June 26, hosted by poet and performer Mark Rawlins, aka Mark the Poet.
Mark said: "This vibrant night of poetry and performance is a proud collaboration with Macc Pride and promises an unforgettable evening of LGBTQ+ voices, community spirit, and lyrical celebration.
"Headlining the night is the brilliant Dominic Berry, returning to Macclesfield after a standout performance at February's event that had the audience buzzing.
"As always, Poetry Pandemonium thrives on participation — and this edition is no different.
"Open mic slots are available for members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies who want to share their work in a warm, welcoming space. If you're a poet, performer, or just fancy having your say, we want to hear from you!
"Come for the poetry, stay for the pandemonium — and celebrate Pride with creativity, courage, and community."
