An SK11 pub could win a county-wide award tomorrow

The Knot Inn, which is operated by the same team that operate nearby wedding venue Heaton House Farm, could win a Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Award on Wednesday.

The pub is nominated in the 'Best Family Friendly Venue' category, alongside four other Cheshire businesses.

The Knot Inn is the only pub this side of Cheshire nominated for the category, and the only nominee from Macclesfield in the whole awards ceremony.

Whilist on the Cheshire - Staffordshrie border, the pub has always had a Macclesfield postcode. (Image - The Knot Inn Rushton)

The Knott will face off against the Ring O'Bells in Christleton, Hickory's Smokehouse in Chester and The Shady in Tiverton.

Should they win, it would be a remarkable achievement for the pub, considering it only reopened at the end of 2022. Macc Nub will contact the pub for comment, if they are victorious.

Their daily menu encompasses a mixture of pub classics as well as gastro mains with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.

Please head to their website to book a table or for any other enquiries or call 01260 226000.
