Pub with Macclesfield postcode celebrates first birthday under new management
An SK11 pub is celebrating a year since they reopened.
This time last year, The Knot Inn was reopened by the people that run Heaton House Farm Wedding Venue in Macclesfield.
The traditional country pub has been a pleasant addition to the rural village of Rushton Spencer since they reopened less than a year ago, they have received rave reviews from the public, with their successes being recognised by TripAdvisor when they were awarded the 2023 Travellers Choice Award!
And the awards don't stop there, as The Knot Inn is also in the running for 'New Tourism Business of the Year' and 'Casual Dining Restaurant of the year' in the Staffordshire Tourism Awards! Which judging criteria included a secret shopper's visit to the pub. You may have also seen their certificate of excellence by Restaurant JI featured on their door too and they are hoping to win many more in the future.
Recently refurbished, there is now an open kitchen at The Knot, where you can watch the team of chefs, who between them have earned 8 rosettes and 2 Michelin stars, create delicious dishes using local produce.
All guests, including those in muddy boots or with 4 paws, receive a warm and friendly welcome from the team and can choose from a selection of local and national real ales and fine wine behind the bar; it really does tick all the boxes to offer a fantastic experience.
Their versatile function room is the perfect relaxed space for all events and occasions in addition to being a cosy country pub; including baby showers, birthdays, christenings, wakes and group meetings!
The Knot's popular Sunday Roast has definitely proven to be a customer favourite including traditional rare roast beef, butter basted turkey and British Boston butt pork served with all the trimmings with a twist.
Their daily menu encompasses a mixture of pub classics as well as gastro mains with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options to make for an incredible selection! We have some stunning starters such as maple roast parsnip & apple soup, alongside delicious desserts including espresso panna cotta and traditional warm apple crumble made with homegrown apples from a local farm.
There are still a few tables available on New Year's Eve so they can take the stress out of hosting for you! And the evening will also include music entertainment from local singer Olivia Robinson to mark the beginning of another incredible year ahead.
They currently have opportunities to join their team of chefs! Where they offer 4-day working weeks, a state-of-the-art kitchen, competitive salary, and free parking. Please head to their website to book a table or for any other enquiries or call 01260 226000.
