Public's support needed to help zero-waste clothing store move to new permanent home

The public are being called upon to support a zero-waste clothing store.
Z in the Attic will soon be moving to a new permanent home in Macclesfield, having enjoyed a successful start to life since opening as a pop-up shop earlier this year.
However, the new space will need a bit of work doing, prompting owner Zoe Aspinall to set up a Crowdfunder.
"Normally we'd cover this through sales and sheer graft, but with rising bills and rent, we can't do it alone," Zoe said.
"This isn't just about a shop – It's about building a space where creativity, sustainability, and community come together."

Nurse Zoe started selling products during her maternity leave in 2021.
She saves fabrics from going to landfill, turning them into fun and reusable clothing and accessories.
In April, Zoe decided to open a pop-up store at Dukes Court.
She said: "The response has been incredible!
"People in Macclesfield have really embraced what I do – saving fabric from landfill and turning it into bold, reusable products.
"The pop-up proved there's a real appetite for sustainable making, so now I'm taking the leap into a permanent shop and workshop space. "

Zoe says she has found the perfect location for Z in the Attic's permanent home, but it will need around £2,000 worth of refurbishments.
Once open, it will allow Zoe to rescue even more textiles from landfill and provide more workshops for all ages and abilities.
She will also be looking to host school visits and community events.
Those who donate to Zoe's Crowdfunder will receive rewards such as tote bags, workshops and even a spot on Z in the Attic's Wall of Fame.
The Crowdfunder, which runs until October 12, can be found here.
It is hoped that Z in the Attic will open at its new location in the autumn.
