Schoolgirl from Macclesfield channels artistic talent to raise over £1,400 for mental health charity
A schoolgirl has raised over £1,400 for a local charity.
Imogen Shuttleworth from Macclesfield used her artistic talents to generate funds for Just Drop-In.
Based in Brook Street, Just Drop-In supports young people with their mental health and wellbeing.
Church Lawton School pupil Imogen created two Christmas card designs which she sold to raise money which will directly support the charity's work.
Jenni Chadwick, from Just Drop-In, said: "We're so grateful to Imogen for her fantastic contribution.
"Her Christmas card designs have been a big success, and the £1,400 raised will go a long way in supporting the young people who rely on our services.
"It's a real testament to her talent and dedication, and we're proud to have worked with her on this project."
Church Lawton School in Stoke is part of the Liberty Academy Trust and supports students with autism aged four to 19.
Headteacher Paul Scales added: "Imogen has achieved something truly special.
"Her hard work and creativity have made a real difference, not only by raising funds but by showing the positive impact young people can have in their communities.
"We're very proud of her achievement and the example she's set."
