Every midweek, we preview the best events coming for the forthcoming weekend, and as we are getting close to Christmas, we are cramming in as many events as we can to our round-up.

Curtain Call...

There's vocal theatrics this weekend as Macclesfield Male Voice Choir perform showtunes.

The musicals-themed event takes place at St Michael and All Angels Macclesfield.

MaccPride Celebration

It is the TRANSCEND/MaccPride Xmas Meal and Disco next week. Last chance for anyone who wants to join us. Anyone welcome.

It's next Sat 2nd Dec. 6:30pm onwards. Finishes at 11pm. Toby Carvery in Adlington. Can join in with festive menu £15pp, usual carvery or just disco.

In Memory Of

A small vigil to remember those no longer with us will take place this weekend.

Christmas can be a tough time when you reflect on those who are no longer with us.

We may have lost friends, family and others in the past year. Or many moons ago.

But the United Reformed Church have teamed up with East Cheshire Hospice to provide a festive vigil for those who have passed.

Head to the Park Green Church on December 2 to take part. Free entry.

There will also be stalls selling Christmas goods and handmade items, as well as mulled wine and mince pies!

Club Night

New Macclesfield bar Duchess will be hosting a great night out this Saturday.

Keep warm and dance the night away to drum and bass music by local DJs.

Christmas Concert

In the countryside, there's a brasstastic evening of music this Friday.

A Christmas band concert at Bosley St Mary's Church will take place from 8pm.

£10 adults, £2 children tea and mince pies included.

Tribute Clash

Two tribute acts collide on Abbey Road this weekend, and neither are a Beatles one!

Lee Newsome as Elvis Presley & Kelly Marie as Cher bring their amazing vocal talents to Macclesfield for this fantastic show.

The event takes place at The Pack Horse Bowling and Social Club this weekend.

Charity Concert

Songs from movies will be performed in Macclesfield this weekend.

A gig will raise funds for Macclesfield's Salvation Army this weekend, at the Salvation Army.

Featuring songs famously used in films, with artists from Leonard Cohen to Beethoven performed.

Tickets £8 on the door, accompanied children free.
