Prospective home owners invited to look around 'unique' new development
Home buyers are encouraged to explore the 'unique' offering of one of Macclesfield's newest developments.
Serenity Developments are inviting prospective home owners to come and visit The Baths, a collection of two- and three-bedroom properties on Canal Street.
With the first residents having moved in just before Christmas, Serenity are planning a big push to sell the remaining homes.
At the open day on Saturday, February 8, they will be offering big discounts and exclusive offers, such as free wi-fi and gym memberships.
Company director, Ian Roberts, said: "These are unique houses.
"They are very different to what you would expect from a newbuild and you won't get the size of rooms that we're offering anywhere else.
"You need to get inside them to really see just how big they are.
"From the outside they look like a modern terrace but inside they are more like a Victorian townhouse.
"They tick all the boxes!"
Ian added: "We have had really good feedback for the ones that we have sold so far.
"People started moving in at the end of last year and love their new homes!"
Ian started Serenity Developments with his business partner Jon Wynne in 2019.
"I'm Macclesfield born and bred," Ian said.
"I wanted to do as much as I could in Macclesfield, because I'm quite passionate about the town.
"We started off small, with a few single houses and then moved on to our first big project, The Baths."
Serenity are also looking to develop Waters Green House, opposite Macclesfield Station.
They have put together a design for the project, named Lomas Mill, that includes 14 apartments and three town houses, as well as commercial space.
Speaking previously on the plans, Jon said: "Lomas Mill will be city centre living with a Macclesfield, Northern Quarter-style feel.
"That means high-end apartments, with internal brick walls, old mill wall-style finishes and exposed beams."
Ian added: "I see Macclesfield as a real opportunity, we have a good mix of housing, and with the train station links I knew there was potential to build a really great core business around this town centre.
"I think Macclesfield has a lot of positive change coming over the next ten years, if the town comes together and the Council gets on board, we can really push the town in the direction Stockport or Altrincham are on."
