Bespoke by Northwood marks new chapter with launch of central hub
By Matthew Hancock-Bruce 21st Oct 2026
Bespoke by Northwood and Northwood Cheshire have introduced a new central hub.
The move brings together a team of 17, supporting the company's continued growth and giving agents more time with clients, buyers and properties across Cheshire.
Over the past four years, the business reports that its lettings operation has grown by more than 25%, while its sales department has more than doubled in size.
Its new structure builds on that success, combining a local office presence with coordinated support across sales, lettings, property management, marketing and administration.
The change reflects how clients now prefer to stay in touch. Most day to day conversations take place through WhatsApp, phone calls and email, with fewer people calling into the office.
By moving to appointments for office visits, the team can use its time more effectively, spending longer with clients at their properties, accompanying buyers on viewings and actively managing rental homes.
While agents are meeting clients, showing homes and visiting rental properties, colleagues at the central hub can handle enquiries, coordinate appointments and progress the work that keeps everything moving.
Josh Gilchrist, Director at Northwood Cheshire, said: "The way people engage with estate agents has changed, and we want our service to reflect that.
"We want to be out there selling and letting homes, getting to know buyers, spending time with our clients and taking an active role in looking after the properties we manage. That means rolling our sleeves up, understanding what needs doing and following it through.
"At the same time, enquiries need answering, appointments need organising and clients need proactive updates. Bringing 17 of us together gives us the structure to do both well: an active team out working with properties, backed by colleagues keeping things moving at the hub.
"Our growth has been built on relationships and trust. This next step is about giving those relationships more time and support."

For buyers and sellers, the new structure means greater flexibility around viewings.
A conventional 20 or 30 minute appointment does not always give someone enough time to explore a home, ask questions and imagine how it could work for them.
The new structure gives agents greater scope to spend longer where needed, learn the details of each property and understand the people viewing it. That knowledge supports more useful feedback for sellers, informed negotiations and a more personal experience for buyers.
This approach runs through BESPOKE's 10 step marketing and sales strategy, which guides each property from its initial pricing through to completion.
The strategy covers marketing price, communication, presentation, visual media, reaching a wider audience, a planned launch, ongoing campaign reviews, negotiation, BESPOKE Secure and dedicated sales progression.
With a limited number of BESPOKE properties taken on at any one time, each campaign receives individual attention. As standard our marketing includes professional photography, property video, early access introductions to registered buyers, extensive social media, local media coverage and proactive buyer contact.
The work continues after launch, with the team reviewing interest, speaking to potential buyers and adapting the campaign in response to feedback. Once an offer is accepted, dedicated sales progression supports the transaction through to completion.
BESPOKE Secure also offers buyers and sellers the opportunity to make a clearer commitment through a reservation agreement supported by Gazeal. This provides additional protection before exchange, subject to its terms, and reduced the risk of fall through from 1 in 3 to 1 in 20.

For landlords, the same emphasis on active involvement underpins Northwood Cheshire's Landlord Asset Management approach.
Property visits, inspections, maintenance planning and regular conversations with owners help the team understand how a property is performing and what attention it may need. Rental income, property condition, compliance and the landlord's longer term plans are considered together.
Closer coordination between colleagues supports that work, from following up a repair to helping an owner prepare a property for letting or consider a future sale.
Northwood also offers Guaranteed Rent, under which it becomes the landlord's tenant on a fixed term agreement and pays a rent, including during void periods or when an occupier fails to pay. This is a step above rent guarantee insurance, offering an alternative for landlords seeking more predictable income and reduced day to day involvement.
The central hub brings these services and skills closer together, while retaining the local presence and personal contact that clients value.
For Macclesfield residents, the local office will continue to showcase properties and remains available for prearranged meetings, property consultations and face-to-face appointments.
