MadHouse

Treacle Freqs are gearing up to host a night of house, techno, garage and jungle at The Swan With Two Necks in Macclesfield.
Headling will be Salo, with support from Wrong and the Freqs DJs.
Tickets cost £8, with 100% of profits from ticket sales being donated to the mental health charity, Mind.

Treacle Market

The Treacle Market is back and September's edition promises to be extra-special, with it being the annual dog show!
Starting at 12.30pm, there will be range of categories, including loveliest lady, best puppy and waggiest tail.
And, as ever, there will also be more than 140 stalls to browse, selling everything from books and street food to art, clothing and furniture.
Macclesfield Textile Week

The inaugural Macclesfield Textile Week concludes on Sunday.
There is so much going on throughout the week, including interactive workshop, special exhibitions and talks with guest speakers.
'No to Peak Cluster' Tractor Run

Action Against CCS (carbon capture and storage) has announced plans for a tractor run in protest of the Peak Cluster proposals.
The convoy will pass through many of the local areas affected, including Adlington, Bollington, Prestbury and Macclesfield.
