A popular family event will come back 'bigger and better' next summer.

The Rossendale Trust have confirmed that their Shine A Light Festival will return to Victoria Park on Saturday, July 17, 2027.

Now, the charity are looking for local businesses to sponsor the event, to ensure it can continue to be free to attend.

A spokesperson for the Rossendale Trust said: "After another fantastic festival, we're already working behind the scenes to make Shine a Light 2027 even bigger and better! w

"We're now looking for local businesses and organisations to help us make it happen.

"One of the things we're most proud of is that Shine a Light is completely free to attend, giving families from across our community the chance to enjoy a brilliant day of live entertainment, activities, stalls, food and family fun without the cost of an entrance ticket.

"But we can only keep it free with the support of our amazing sponsors."
