Sheep Dog Trials

Macclesfield and District Sheep Dog Trials Association hosts the National Championships this weekend.

Running from Thursday to Monday, competitors from all over the UK and abroad will be taking part.

Spectators and their well-behaved dogs are welcome to attend, with free parking and refreshments.

There will also be trade stands, a raffle, Tug-o-War, a craft fair, live music and a bar

Bolly Skyline Enduro

The Bolly Skyline Mountain Bike Enduro takes place this weekend.

Now in its third year, it is a competition for pros and amateurs alike, all with the aim of celebrating sport and community.

Co-organiser Maria Bryceland said: "We feel so proud of the support from the community and the fact we can bring everyone together to celebrate the love of where we live and one of our favourite pastimes together."

Gravity Pilates Summer Party

Gravity Pilates hosts its Summer Party on Friday.

Offering a chance to catch up, relax and celebrate away from the studio, the evening will feature drinks and nibbles and award presentations.

Poetry Pandemonium

Looking ahead to next week, Poetry Pandemonium returns to Mash Guru.

The August edition will feature poetry double-act, the Misplaced Apostrophe's, aka Nick Degg and Mark the Poet, plus open mic.
