You may not be ready to think about taking your Christmas tree down just yet, but it's never too early to plan ahead.
Volunteers from East Cheshire Hospice will once again be hitting the streets, collecting and recycling trees across the local area.
Now in its 25th year, the annual collection has raised over £2 million since its inception in 2001.
"Our team and volunteers are really looking forward to this year's Christmas Tree Collection," said Luke Brightmore, the hospice's marketing and communications manager.
"It's such a fantastic community effort and makes a huge difference to the hospice.
"Last year, the collection raised over £160,000, which is enough to fund more than two weeks of care.
"With the Hospice needing to raise £9,362 every single day, this event is absolutely vital in helping us continue to provide specialist care and support for local people and their families."

The volunteer team will be out collecting trees on Saturday, January 10, and Sunday, January 11.
Residents in the CW12, SK9, SK10, SK11, SK12 and WA16 postcodes can take part.
All you need to do is head to www.echtrees.org.uk and book your collection.
In doing so you will be joining a nationwide movement.
In January 2025, around 250,000 trees were recycled across the UK by more than 150 hospices, helping reduce carbon emissions while raising funds for hospice care.
