Music@Mike's

St Michael's welcome Ukrainian pianist Ivan Hovorun for their next lunchtime concert, starting at 1.15pm.
He will be playing works by Liszt and Faure.
The concert is free but donations to the Royal Northern College of Music fund to support musicians from Ukraine are welcome.
B's Memory Cafe

Hosted by Admiral Nurse Caroline Clifton, Belong Macclesfield is offering a warm and welcoming space where families, friends and carers of people living with dementia can come together over a cuppa and cake!
It is an ideal opportunity to meet new friends and enjoy a variety of dementia-friendly activities.
The next session takes place in The Venue on Friday from 2pm to 4pm.

Save Danes Moss

A public meeting is being organised by Save Danes Moss to discuss the latest updates to their campaign.
They will be considering what could happen to the site next, as well as sharing how you can help to defend the local environment.
The meeting, at St Michael's, starts at 7pm.
Bingo Night

Masonic Hall on Riseley Street is hosting a bingo night.
Doors open at 7pm, with the action getting underway at half past.
Tickets cost £20 and include a sharing platter, a bingo card and a disco.

Race for OurSpace

Alderley Park will play host to Race for OurSpace this weekend.
The team challenge will help to raise vital funds for a new dedicated youth zone in Macclesfield.
This will be a place where young people can build confidence, learn new skills, and access support when they need it most.
Summer Days Street Party

Chestergate West is gearing up for a party with the return of Summer Days.
From 11am to 6pm, head over and enjoy live music, arts and crafts, food and drink, stalls, performers and more.

Music from the Movies

The King's School hosts Silk Brass and Magic Voices on Saturday evening.
They will be playing a concert of well-known soundtracks from popular films.
Tickets cost £15 and can be purchased online or from the visitor centre in the library.

East Cheshire Ramblers are hosting their second 'Sunday Scramble'.
This week they will be taking on the Crowden Clough Scramble to Kinder Scout.
