With Remembrance Sunday having been one of Macclesfield's busiest events in recent memory, you might be forgiven for expecting a quieter weekend ahead.

Thursday (13/11)

Poetry Pandemonium

The popular quarterly spoken word event returns to Mash on Thursday.

It will feature special guest poets Lynne Jones and Anna Sharpe Jones along with regular host, Mark the Poet.

There are also open mic spots and best of all, admission is only £3.

Friday (14/11)

Street Dance Workshop

Sylk Dance Academy coach Lewis Tigran is hosting a street dance workshop this Friday.

Many will recognise Lewis from Britain's Got Talent, having reached this year's semi-finals with his friend Harry.

Suitable for all levels aged seven and above, this session is open to both members and non-members.

Ghost Walk

Join Flecky Bennett for his Macclesfield Ghost Walk this Friday.

With weird and spooky stories, it is described as Horrible Histories for adults.

Saturday (15/11)

Christmas Fair

Windyway Trust are holding their Christmas Fair at the Macclesfield Community Centre on Duke Street.

There will be lots of stalls, refreshments, raffle, tombola, books, plants, cakes and pet items.

It costs just £1 to enter.

Sunday (16/11)

Pasta Class

Head over to Adlington Village Hall fresh colour pasta cooking class.

In this engaging session, you'll make the fresh pasta from scratch using different foods to create different colours and patterns.

This class will give you the confidence and know-how to make colourful pasta, different pasta shapes. As well as creating a quick sauce to serve with your pasta.

Tuesday (18/11)

Staying Safe Online

Looking ahead to next week, Macclesfield College will be hosting a 'Staying Safe Online' session.

It forms part of the college's new 'Don't Click the Trick' cyber security awareness campaign.

The session, which runs from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, is completely free and open to both the college community and the wider public.

Men's Wellbeing Bushcraft

Following the success of their first wellbeing evening, Modern Woolfare have announced two more sessions in partnership with The Wild Project.

Head over to the Picturedrome to unwind around the fire — learn bushcraft skills, share stories, listen, chat, and enjoy a brew in good company.
