What's On is brought to you by our sponsors, Wincle Beer.
It's been a wet week in Macclesfield and unfortunately that doesn't look to be subsiding anytime soon.
Thankfully, there is plenty going on this weekend to keep you entertained no matter the weather.
Remember you can advertise your event with Macclesfield Nub News and get it featured in next week's round-up.
You can also check out what else is coming up by heading over to our What's On section here.
Thursday (18/09)
Knitting 4 Charity

Knitting 4 Charity is a new weekly group where people can make friends whilst making items for various causes.
The first session takes place at the Hope Centre this Thursday.
The group will be making poppies for the Royal British Legion ahead of Remembrance Day.
More information can be found here.
Friday (19/09)
Music@Mike's

The next lunchtime concert at St Michael's will be a recital by the talented local musician David Eades.
He will be performing some of his favourite pieces, including piano works by Eric Satie and guitar tunes by Ian Curtis.
Entry is free but donations to the East Cheshire Hospice and St Michael's are welcomed.
Saturday (20/09)
Oktoberfest

Park Green car park will play host to Oktoberfest on Saturday.
The free event will feature a range of guest ales and sausages as well as the infamous Oompah Stompers and MORA, plus DJs.
The Oompah Stompers are a fusion of traditional Bavarian party band with German oompah favorites mingled with Bavarian polka style pop hits.
Meanwhile, MORA & The Fabulous Wonderfuls bring a 'unique blend of righteous anger and soul-lifting songs to rouse your spirit and move your feet'.
Hospice Rocks

Father and son Alan and Stuart Bailey, from Trackside Studios, have organised Hospice Rocks in memory of the late Maureen Bailey.
All of the bands taking part are regulars at the rehearsal studio, including headliners, The Virginmarys.
They are joined on the bill by Snowdrop, Airheart, Sonic Jukebox and 3 P Sweet.

It has been revived by Verity Shuttleworth in memory of her father, Richard Lea, who passed away in March this year aged 80 as a result of a brain tumour.
The family-friendly event sees participants trace the boundaries of the town, with 13km and 35km routes available to participants.
