Music@Mike's

This week's free lunchtime concert at St Michael's Church will be a recital by local organist and Music Director Neil Taylor.

The church has a magnificent pipe organ and this is a rare opportunity to hear it played at a recital by a very accomplished organist.

Neil will be playing works by JSBach, Vierne, Preston and Franck.

Indian Summer Curry Night

Mottram Village Hall will host an 'unforgettable evening of community, cuisine, and camaraderie' this Saturday.

"All proceeds help send 32 scouts from 3rd Macclesfield Upton Priory on an unforgettable trip to Kandersteg," reads the event listing.

"Your support will enrich their Scouting journey, fostering cross-cultural connections, outdoor skills, and lifelong memories."

Tickets are priced at £20 for adult and £10 for children under 12.

Charity Car Treasure Hunt

Head over to The Knot Inn for a charity car treasure hunt.

Start anytime between 5pm and 6pm, simply turn up with your team to collect your instructions, then hit the road following the clues and answering questions as you go.

The winning team will receive a £25 gift voucher for The Knot Inn.

It costs £5 per car to enter, with all proceeds going to St Lawrence's Church and Rushton CE First School.

Mini Makers Market

The Puss in Boots is hosting a Mini Makers Market on Sunday.

A number of local creatives will be in attendance, selling everything from crochet and pottery to sweet treats and bespoke art.

It takes place from 2pm to 5pm.
