Pride and Pandemonium
MaccPride may have come and gone but the festivities continues at Mash Guru with Pride and Pandemonium on Thursday.
Expect poetry from regular host, Mark the Poet, and special guest, Adey Bee, plus open mic opportunities for members of the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies.

Sunset Hike on Shutlingsloe
What better way to end the working week than with a guided sunset hike up the 'Cheshire Matterhorn'.
You will follow a 10km circular route through Macclesfield Forest and up to the 506-metre summit of Shutlingsloe, arriving at the top as the light turns golden and the views open out across the Cheshire Plain.
"If this is your first guided hill walk, Shutlingsloe is one of the best introductions there is," the event listing reads.
"The ascent is straightforward, the summit reward is immediate, and the atmosphere on the hill at golden hour is something that tends to stay with people."

Shine A Light Festival
Following a successful launch last year, the Shine A Light Festival is returning to Victoria Park on Saturday!
Hosted by the Rossendale Trust, this family-friendly festival brings people together to celebrate inclusion, creativity, and the incredible work of local charities and community groups.
It will feature live entertainment, market stalls, food vendors, fun activities and more!

Back After This Short Break
Macclesfield Light Orchestra's upcoming concert will focus on music used in TV ads, including pieces by Grieg, Debussy, Tchaikovsky and Bach.
All of the money raised from ticket sales will go to East Cheshire Hospice.
