RugbyFest 2025

Has the World Cup-winning England Women's Rugby team inspired you to give rugby a try?

Then head over to Macclesfield Rugby Club for RugbyFest 2025!

There will be skill zones, rugby games, glitter tattoos, crafts, photo opportunities and even the chance to meet a Red Rose.

Best of all, it is free entry and there is no charge for parking.

Nature Needs You

West Park will play host to Nature Needs You on Saturday.

Organised by Macclesfield Town Council, the event aims to motivate residents to embrace the weather and get out into nature.

Expect storytelling, giant-sized creepy crawlies, crafts, marshmallows and birds of prey.

The Clayrooms Birthday Party

The Clayrooms on Park Green is turning two.

To celebrate, they will be hosting an open studio.

Visitors will have a chance to meet the team, purchase handmade pottery and even have a go for themselves.

Beneath the Surface

Beneath the Surface is the inaugural exhibition from Mill Artists Collective, curated by Hannah Wooll, Stephen Milner and Tyra Till.

Housed in the historic Butter Market, expect to encounter painting, sculpture, moving image, immersive VR, participatory works, and large-scale installation.

The 11 artists boast a varied, stimulating mix of practices that showcase a sample of the breadth and ambition of the region's creative voices.

Alongside the exhibition, the programme will include community visits and workshops, encouraging people of all ages to explore, create, and connect.

Community Hike

Fitness in Mind are inviting the Bollington community to join in their next hike.

This time, they will be exploring a beautiful section of the Gritstone Trail.

Meeting at Pool Bank Car Park, the 10km loop passes by Pott Shrigley, White Nancy and Clarence Mill, with a stop at Kickback Coffee along the way.
