A Macclesfield pub is spending the next few weeks giving back to good causes.
Waters Green pub Old Millstone is doing their bit for the community and charity.
It began with free gifts for regulars on Friday, as it was Random Acts of Kindness Day.
Punters got free salty snacks, chocolates and greetings cards to put a smile on their face.
They are also encouraging customers to join them in donating Easter Eggs to food banks, particularly as the pub is just a two minute walk from Silklife Foodbank. (You can pop one behind the bar and they can donate it for you).
This season of goodwill will culminate in a big sleep out to raise awareness of homeless people or those on the brink of homelessness.
Staff, regulars and other members of the community are invited to the recently-refurbished put to sleep in the cold for a good cause.
The sleep out will take place on Monday April 3, just ask behind the bar if you'd like to get involved.
You can also donate to charity ahead of the event, with almost £50 raised so far.
The pub already runs a weekly events calendar, so squeezing a few more in was water off a duck's back for publican Ellie Fernihough.
"We want to get everyone involved in the community create a big space for us to connect to hardships people go through every day", she said.
"Mental health is really important to me, I believe in believe benefits socialising can bring, some people come in and it is their only point of contact in the day.
"One of our weekly events is a games night, on a Tuesday, with a big focus on mental health. We run a separate mental health support group on Facebook as well.
"Please join us for the sleep out. we will be building sleep spaces out of boxes and and sleeping outdoors. We've recently redone our outdoor courtyard.
"There's ten of us taking part so far. Let's get Macclesfield behind this if it means one less person sleeping rough."
Old Millstone is located on 66 Waters Green, Macclesfield SK11 6JZ
