New nursery launching in Macclesfield this September

A new nursery is launching in Macclesfield.
St John's School has announced the opening of a new nursery, located in the main school building.
Launching in September, the move will bring the existing on-site pre-school into the heart of the school community.
Headteacher of the Ivy Road school, Mark Harrison, said: "We believe that this move will ensure that children will have an even smoother transition into reception as they begin their journey in primary school education."

The move is seen as an 'exciting new chapter' for early years provision at St John's.
It will see the current pre-school officially become part of the school, with all existing staff joining the St John's team.
This continuity means families can expect the same caring faces and trusted expertise but with with even closer integration into the life and ethos of the primary school.
The new nursery will continue to welcome children from the age of two and can now offer full wrap-around care for pupils aged two to 11.
With care available before and after the school day, the provision is designed to provide support for working parents, ensuring children can grow and thrive in a familiar, nurturing environment throughout their primary years.
Families interested in learning more about nursery places or wrap-around care can contact the school office on 01625 428 222 or [email protected], or alternatively, visit the school's website.
