NEEDLE IN A HAYSTACK: A man with links to Macclesfield and 14 other places has gone missing, and police want to speak to him.

Despite the crimes being unspecified, and over 15 places he could be, Cheshire Police and North Yorkshire Police are urging Macclesfield to keep an eye out for Marcus Golding.

The latter force said in a statement: "Can you help us locate this wanted man?"

"27 year old Marcus Golding is wanted for failing to attend court in relation to a number of serious offences.

"He has links to and connections in a number of locations across the UK including; Scarborough, Birmingham, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Luton, Milton Keynes, Lincoln, Peterborough, Grantham, Northampton, Macclesfield, Stoke-on-Trent, Stone and Derbyshire."

"If you have any information which could help locate Golding please call 101 quoting ref: 12210188034, asking for Cheshire Police or North Yorkshire Police."

It is unknown if any of his offences were committed in Macclesfield.

Macclesfield Nub News has contacted Cheshire Police for further clarity on his links to our town.
