As inflation soars and recession looms, people are in need for a bit of financial support.

And here is a trio of good causes in Macclesfield which could use some financial backing right now.

From charities to individuals, here are three Crewe crowdfunders you can pledge to today.

Victim Support

This crowdfunder is in support of a recent victim of a crime.

Organiser Chris Wilcock said: "On Thursday 3rd November, Craig Williams was walking home after an evening at Broken Cross Club playing pool when he was involved in a hit and run incident.

"He has been left with some life-threatening injuries and is currently in an induced coma and the money will go to help his rehabilitation when back at home."

Craig - who helped set up a charity pool tournament earlier this year - is a father and lifelong Macclesfield resident.

£1,990 has been raised of £2,500 goal so far. You can help by clicking here.

Cheshire Police have been contacted for comment.

Movember Man

Many men in Macclesfield have done their bit for Movember and raising money for male-associated charities, but we are highlighting this one as it raises money for a charity that is normally best associated with women.

Hurdsfield resident Simon Reeves is doing his bit to generate funds for Breast Cancer Research Aid. He wants to raise £500, with just a few days of the month left.

While men can still get breast cancer, we thought it was important to highlight the reversal of Movember expectations to support prostate or men's mental health charities.

YouTube Growth

Arkadiusz or 'Arek' for short, is almost at his fundraising goal. Can you help the proudly-Macclesfield content creator? (Image - Macc Aviation)

A feelgood story of following his passion, this Upton Priory man leads a double life as a semi-famous YouTuber.

Arkadiusz Koziczynski has 10,000 subscribers on his plane-spotting YouTube channel Macc Aviation.

So far he has £1,257 raised of £2,410 goal to afford a new tripod to improve the content he offers his loyal followers.

This month marks the two-year anniversary of his channel, which he now wants to take to the next level with your help.
