The Farmers' Country Showdown

First to air in 2022 was this look at rural Macclesfield life, as in January an episode of The Farmers' Country Showdown.

It covered the 76th Macclesfield Sheepdog Trials from the halfway point into the episode.

Homes Under The Hammer

In March, a Homes Under The Hammer episode of ex-England footballer Dion Dublin visiting Macclesfield was broadcast.

It focuses on a two-bedroom converted mill property in central Macclesfield.

Making Macclesfield FC: The Finale

Perhaps the most notable on the list, and airing just a few months before the documentary series would win a Royal Television Society Award, the second and final episode of the Macclesfield FC documentary aired this year.

The 15 minute finale hones in on the championship-winning confirmation match against Ashton Athletic, for which Nub News wrote an article on about HERE.
