Timelapse footage of a new mural at Macclesfield Railway Station has been released.

The Charles Tunnicliffe-inspired mural which was completed in Macclesfield last month, now has a council-backed short film to compliment its creation.

The stunning footage, which can be viewed by clicking the play button at the top of this article, shows artist Peachzz painting the swifts onto the previously grey pillar.

It is one of three new street art projects coming to Macclesfield, thanks to Cheshire East Council.

The first was the Ian Curtis mural on Mill Street. The third street art project is yet to be announced.
