'True comedy heavyweight' to play intimate show in Macclesfield

Two of the UK's biggest and brightest comedians are coming to Macclesfield.
Darren Harriott and Dan Nightingale will take to the stage at Red Willow next month.
Headliner Harriott is a double Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee and one of the most in-demand comedians in the country.
A regular face on TV, Darren has lit up screens on Live at the Apollo, Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats, House of Games and The Apprentice: You're Fired.
Promoter Kev Rook from Nodding Dog Comedy said: "His sharp, thoughtful material and magnetic stage presence have won him rave reviews and a fast-growing army of fans across the UK.
"This is a rare chance to see a true comedy heavyweight in an intimate setting – and it's not to be missed."

Nightingale, co-host of the Have A Word podcast, opens the show on Thursday, June 12.
Fresh from selling out theatres nationwide, Nightingale is known for masterful storytelling and lightning-fast wit.
Rounding out the bill is Stuart Thomas, runner-up in the 2024 Macclesfield New Comedian of the Year competition.
Holding the show together is resident MC and compere Jonathan Mayor.
Doors open at 7pm with the first act on at 8pm.
Tickets, priced at £15, are available now and can be purchased here.
