Parents can show their kids one of their favourite movies in the luxury of Macclesfield's only cinema.

The 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live-action movie will be shown at Cinemac early next month.

The flick which was one of puppeteer Jim Henson's last projects before his death, spawned two sequels.

The film is being screened to conclude this year's MACC-POW Festival, a comic art festival organised by local artist and Room4Comics owner Marc Jackson.

The event takes place on Sunday July 2 from 3:30pm to 5pm.

Tickets cost £12.50. There will be a pizza and DJ session for ticketholders after the film ends.
