Got a burning question about Macclesfield?

Cheshire East Council is inviting residents to take part in another virtual 'conversation with' the leader and deputy leader.

This involves questions put to Leader Cllr Sam Corcoran and his Deputy Cllr Craig Browne.

The Labour-Independent coalition did this multiple times in the last electoral cycle, but this is the first Q&A of this kind since the May 2023 elections.

Previous 'conversation with' sessions have covered a wide variety of topics about council services and policies, including planning, highways, the carbon neutral plan, sustainable travel and town centre regeneration.

You can even submit Macclesfield-specific questions, providing it regards a service or department covered by Cheshire East Council.

Questions will be addressed by the leader and deputy leader in a pre-recorded question and answer video, to be published in November.

Questions can be submitted online using the form found on the council's website, or can be sent by post to:

Communications Team, Cheshire East Council, Westfields, Middlewich Road, Sandbach, CW11 1HZ.

The deadline to submit questions for this 'conversation with' session is midday on Sunday 22 October 2023.
