Here are four big events going on this Bank Holiday weekend in Macclesfield.
In Music
Macclesfield's annual indoor music festival is back this weekend.
Party in the Pews, of Christ Church, is just days away.
Music acts performing include 90s Britpop legends Dodgy, Cheshire singer-songwriter James Walsh of the former Warrington band Starsailor, and The Slow Readers Club.
Other acts performing at the music festival which takes place on Saturday May 25 and Sunday May 26, include Macclesfield acts Joel Gardner and The Dopes.

In Art
New Macclesfield ceramic art studio Periwinkle and Clay is hosting a boozy, artsy evening on Wood Street.
The small business said: Experience creativity like never before at Periwinkle and Clay! Join us for a relaxing and enjoyable session where you'll unleash your creative side.

In Bollington
The Bollington Festival (a charity run entirely by volunteers) will mark its 60th anniversary with a sparkling four day Diamond Jubilee Jamboree on the Bollington Recreation Ground, over the May Bank Holiday weekend.
During the mornings and afternoons, there will be lots of fabulous FREE activities for all ages, including live music, creative activities and dance performances.
The highlight of the Jamboree will be the ticketed, open-air, evening concerts on the covered stage, featuring some of the best loved Festival performers from down the years, including OASISH, the UK's premier Oasis tribute band and local favourite, Screaming Beavers, one of England's finest soul bands.
Happy anniversary! And fingers crossed Bollington Festival can be held again soon.
In Motoring
In what has become a Bank Holiday tradition, the two day car show at Capesthorne Hall near Macclesfield is back again.
Cheshire Classic Car & Motorcycle Show, taking place on Sunday 26th and Monday 27th May 2024 at Capesthorne Hall, a stunning location to house a fantastic vehicle display over two days.
This popular event regularly attracts 400-500 display vehicles to this most picturesque of settings.
The family friendly show will feature:
- 400+ vintage, classic and modern classic vehicles on display
- Trade, autojumble & retail stands
- Full vehicle concourse overseen by an experienced commentator
- Quality food, drink, ice cream and responsible bar
- Access to the grounds of this stunning venue
