It is almost the weekend, so here's a fab four events going on in Macc.

Each week, Macclesfield Nub News previews that events are coming in the Macclesfield area for the forthcoming weekend. 

And while budgets for days and nights out may be a smaller in the first month of the year, there is still plenty of free and affordable events to do in Macclesfield this weekend. 

Live Theatre

Friday, 7:30pm, Saturday 2:00pm and Saturday 7:30pm are the final performances.

Over in Bollington, there is some nautical theatre on Friday and Saturday.

Robinson Crusoe and His Pirates takes place on Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and Friday evening.

Bollington Festival Players presents their annual pantomime with plenty of song, dance and fun for all the family.

Live Well Workshop

An emblem for Gawsworth.

A two hour workshop on Saturday afternoon will help reboot our bodies for the new year.

A Healthy Eating and Wellbeing Workshop will take place at St James' Church in Gawsworth.

The event reads: "Combine the power of your subconscious mind with expert nutritional advice to obtain improved gut health and a healthy weight, feeling great."

Japanese Cuisine

Get familiar with the Land of the Rising Sun in Adlington this weekend.

Adlington Village Hall will be hosting a sushi-making class on Saturday evening.

Learn the Japanese skill of sushi rolling from 6pm.

Cooking with Jinny is hosting the event for £60pp.

Pub Walk

A Bollington pub is rallying the community to join them on a walk in the Great British Countryside.

The Spinners Arms will be the start-point for a 12-mile walk in association with Bollington Real Ale Ramblers.

10am start. Walk to Poynton in a big circuit. More info and RSVP HERE.
