First Up
Saturday September 14 is Heritage Open Day in Macclesfield.
And seven venues are taking part.

Also In Town Centre
A market organised by a former Mayor of Macclesfield will take place on Saturday.
The Big Made in Macclesfield Makers Market takes place from 10:30am on Market Place.

In Upton Priory
Macclesfield RSPB Wildlife Explorers have family fun on this weekend.
The interactive event will teach about the 'Olympic feats' of the animal kingdom.
There'll be lots of fun activities and games as we celebrate the elite sprinters, swimmers and high jumpers of the natural world.
Meeting point: Macclesfield Leisure Centre, Priory Lane, Macclesfield, SK10 4AF.
Meet at the Leisure Centre entrance. Please wear suitable clothing and sturdy footwear. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The event is free (suggested donation of £1 per child).

Battle of the Bands
Five bands will duke it out to win a Battle of the Bands competition this Saturday.
The event is to raise money for the Mayor of Macclesfield's local charities.

Local guitar legend Carl Morris will be performing at The Church House in Sutton on Sunday.
The Britpop-inspired performer will be performing lots of Oasis, in the wake of the reunion tour.
