More details have been revealed about a new food court opening in Macclesfield.

The Stay Lusso food court is almost ready to open, bringing four 'artisan' retail units to Castle Street.

Ahead of the launch, Chris Oakes, co-founder of the apartment complex, has shared details about what you can expect.

This includes a sandwich shop which will begin welcoming customers later this month and an express coffee shop opening in the new year.

He said: "The Stay Lusso food court is proud to be bringing forward four innovative new food and drink concepts to the local community of Macclesfield.

"In unit one there will be an exciting new sandwich concept outlet, featuring hot and cold sandwiches of the highest quality, conceived and delivered by a local food artisan. This will open pre-Christmas.

"In unit two, PRONTO CAFFE will open the first of several planned express coffee shops, intended to provide high-quality coffees, teas, pastries, and confectionery, delivered with a swift service and a swagger. PRONTO CAFFE will open early in January."

Due to non-disclosure obligations, Chris is not currently able to reveal too much about units three and four.

"Suffice to say both are innovative hot food concepts which we are convinced will be very popular with the people of Macclesfield," he added.

"At Stay Lusso, we are delighted to have been able to bring together such a broad and varied range of hot and cold food, of the highest quality, supported by PRONTO CAFFE."

The aforementioned sandwich shop will be called Pané.

It was due to open on Saturday, December 6, however this had to be delayed due to 'unforeseen electrical issues'.

A new opening date is expected to be confirmed shortly.

It is expected that everything will be open and operational by February at the latest.
