There's just days before Halloween, and there's plenty of spooky events on in town.
Here's a list of the best Macclesfield events going on in town this weekend.
Get ready to get spooked in Silktown.
Poetry Evening
The only one of these four events that one wouldn't class as seasonal or 'frightening', is a Friday evening of local culture.
The Friends of Macclesfield Silk Heritage present 'THE 3 DEGG-REES' - an evening of topical, original and entertaining poetry from local poets - NICK DEGG, PIHL POYSER & MARK RAWLINS.
On Friday 27th October at 7.30pm, at Townley Hall, Townley Street, Macclesfield SK11 6HZ (behind the United Reform Church, Park Green)
Admission - £8 (cash) including refreshments. Please pay on the door.
Halloween in the Town Centre
One day later, there's a big, all-ages event celebrating Halloween (albeit, a few days early!)
Things are going to be feeling a little bit spooooky around town on the 28th October.
This free event from Macclesfield Town Council will welcome the Halloween to the town.
There will be pumpkins in shop windows, Crafty Crypt in the Grosvenor Centre from Macclesfield Community Artspace and zombies in the Market Place!
On Saturday 28th October between 11-3pm the town centre will play host to Stilt-walking Scarecrows who will be on hand to keep an eye on things from above and the Ghostbusters have permission to park their car, the Ecto-1, in front of the Town Hall!
There will be games to play, face-painting and of course the wearing of Halloween costumes is highly encouraged, all to get you warmed up and into the spooooky spirit.
Club Night
Check out new Macclesfield bar Duchess and enjoy a spooky club night on Saturday from 8pm.
Last entry 11pm, £11.25 per ticket.
Drum and bass, in what claims to be 'Macclesfield's biggest Halloween party'.

Rave
One for adults, but costumes still welcome is this event at an undisclosed location in Macclesfield.
Saturday October 28, 9pm to 5am.
The event organisers said: "Join us for a night of electrifying beats and hauntingly good vibes as we bring you multiple D&B DJs and artists who will keep the music pumping all night long! Along with some very special guests.
"Dress in your scariest costumes and get ready to win some fang-tastic prizes!
"Plus, enjoy spine-tingling drinks at Spookley low prices that will keep you refreshed throughout the night!
"Don't miss out on this epic Halloween party - tag your friends and let's make this a night to remember!
