Bioblitz
On Saturday morning, Bioblitz nature event will make its annual return to Riverside Park.
Pull on your boots, dig out your binoculars and head down to the park for a fun-filled day of butterfly walks, river dipping, environmental artwork and so much more!
You will be able to join experts in discovering birds, wildflowers, minibeasts and water life found throughout the park.
Turn up to Riverside Park Ranger Centre on Beech Lane at 10am-2pm on Saturday if you're interested.

Between Thorns Gig
Interested in rock/punk music?
Head along to the Old Millstone on Friday for an unforgettable performance by Macclesfield's own five piece band, Between Thorns.
Entry is free, arrive from 8pm. The Waters Green pub on is the latest to host the young local band which have found streaming success in America.

Concert For Peace for Refugees Welcome
This Sunday, St Michael's Parish Church is hosting a concert to raise money for Refugees Welcome, a charity devoted to settling Ukrainian families fleeing from conflict.
For tickets only £3.30, the Market Place concert promises an entertaining evening, featuring performances from both local and international musicians.
Local composer Taylor Giacoma is expected to premiere her latest musical composition entitled 'What will you say: A musical journey through Conflict, Peace and the Dilemma of war.'
The concert also features the last gig of Dan McKinnon's UK tour, a Canadian singer songwriter who is looking forward to playing in our town centre's Anglican Church.
Doors open at 3:15 and the concert commences at 3:30.
All proceeds go towards funding for Refugees Welcome, and tickets and donations can be found here.
Pop-up Sushi Social Workshop
This Saturday, local food instructor Cooking with Jinny is hosting an evening at Adlington Village Hall to help others discover the art and fun of sushi-making.
Join Jinny and a small group of friends to enjoy a glass of wine and learn some new culinary skills.
For an introductory rate of £58 per person, Jinny promises an evening of fun, relaxation and dining.
The evening begins at 6:30-9:30 pm.
All are welcome, and tickets can be booked via Jinny's website.
