From charity concerts to kids theatre, here's the four best things to do in Macclesfield this weekend.

Macc Bikeathon

Just Drop In are a charity located at 15 Brook St, Macclesfield SK11 7AA.

It is not too late to register for the Macclesfield Bikeathon.

Taking place on Saturday 20th May, starting off from the town centre.

There's routes for all-abilities of bike riding. All proceeds go straight to Macclesfield's Just Drop-In to help support local young people who may be finding life hard!

The annual event has raised over £15,000 over the years for charity.

Car Boot

Macclesfield Academy Car Boot Sale

Summer may be almost upon us, but it is never too late for a spring cleaning.

A three-hour car boot sale will take place in town on Sunday.

£1 entry for adults, kids go free.

Moonsmile

A Cheshire theatre company will bring children's theatre to Jordangate this weekend.

Moonsmile is the production and Macclesfield Library is your venue.

Local Musician's Biggest Hometown Concert

Macclesfield performer Joel Gardner aims to sell out St. Michael's Church on Friday.

The grassroots music hero will raise funds for two national charities, with the concert starting at 7:30pm.

He'll also be playing a brand new single that he'll release on the same day.
