It is that time of the week again, where we cast our eye to up and coming events in the Macclesfield area. And we've got seven corkers this weekend.

Some of these events are taken from our Macclesfield What's On page, where you can promote your happenings in the town for FREE.

First up on Friday

St. Michael's Church, of Market Place, Macclesfield.

Macclesfield's St. Michael's Church go above and beyond for the community.

And this Friday they are cooking YOU a meal with surplus food that would have otherwise gone to waste.

Arrive for 6:00pm, pay as you feel, booking required.

Pub's Charity Drive

A Waters Green pub is doing another charity fundraiser.

It feels like every other week the Old Millstone does their bit for a good cause, probably because it is.

This Friday at 7pm they will have a breast cancer charity fundraiser, with a tribute act to the singer P!NK.

Wear pink and bring cash for the raffle. £10 ticket. RSVP.

Tied up in Knots

Head to Rushton Spencer near Macclesfield for a folk-tastic event.

There's free live music at a pub near Macclesfield.

The Knot Inn in Rushton Spencer, which recently celebrated their first birthday since reopening, have an accessible live music event on Sunday.

7:30pm from 10pm there's folk music and a singalong in the idyllic country pub.

Charity Dancing

Dukebox near Duke's Court will host the event.

Get your groove on for the British Heart Foundation.

Macclesfield DJs will show off their skills, whilst raising funds for the British Heart Foundation.

£85 has been fundraised already ahead of Saturday's event. If you can't make the event, why not donate HERE.

Keep Moving

Keep fit this February by trying out a five kilometre run with a Macclesfield personal trainer.

This free event takes place on Saturday from 8am, with Matt Rigby PT.

Explore Macclesfield Forest for a great cause this weekend.

On Saturday from 11am, a charity walk in Macclesfield Forest will raise funds for MIND the mental health charity.

Relaxing End to the Weekend

A yoga retreat will take place in a parish near Macclesfield.

Enjoy great yoga and great food at this Sunday five-hour event in Over Alderley.
