Dozens of festively decorated tractors are set to pass through Macclesfield.

Mia's Festive Run, an annual fundraiser for Cardiac Risk in the Young, takes place this weekend.

It will see a convoy of tractors travel round Cheshire in memory of Broken Cross resident Mia Jennings, who passed away in January 2023 after suffering a cardiac arrest, aged just 19.

Below, you will find all the details, including locations and timings, of when the fleet of tractors will pass through Macclesfield on Saturday, December 27.

Mia's Festive Run will set off from Over Peover at 3.30pm.

It is expected to arrive at the Gawsworth crossroads, via Dark Lane, at around 4.35pm.

From here, the convoy will head along the A536 towards the Rising Sun pub, arriving between 4.40pm and 4.55pm.

The fleet will then take a left at the Flower Pot onto Ivy Lane and Ivy Road, turning left at the roundabout to head towards the Broken Cross crossroads, at around 5pm.

There, the tractors will take a right onto Fallibroome Road before turning left onto Priory Lane, passing Macclesfield Leisure Centre, where Mia used to work.

The convoy continues straight from here, heading towards Prestbury - expected to arrive at the village hall at around 5.10pm.

Beyond Prestbury, the route continues past Mottram Hall and Brook House Farm Shop en route to Alderley Edge.
