Police are appealing for information from the public in tracing a 24-year-old man from Wilmslow, who has links to Macclesfield.

Sonny Lennon is wanted in connection to assault.

The 24-year-old from Wilmslow is described as white, around 6'0" tall, of slim build, with shoulder-length brown hair and brown eyes.

He is originally from Wilmslow, but has links to Macclesfield as well as the Sale area of Manchester.

Details of his connection to Macclesfield was not disclosed by Cheshire Police.
