Windyway Trust's family-friendly music festival set to return 'bigger and better than ever'
By Matthew Hancock-Bruce 17th Jul 2026
Windystock is back and promises to be 'bigger and better than ever'.
After a successful revival in 2025, the Windyway Trust is gearing up to host another family-friendly music festival.
With more than a dozen acts set to take to the stage on Saturday, July 25, there promises to be something for everyone.
Chris Earles, chair of trustees at Windyway, said: "Windystock 2026 is going to be bigger and better than ever!
"We are really looking forward to the event!
"It's lovely to see so many people enjoying an open-air festival and bringing people together to help and support Macclesfield's local animal charity."
She added: "There are so many highlights!
"We have worked really hard to try and cover most genres of music, with little to no overlap between any of the 14 acts."
Windystock 2026 line-up

Gates open at 10am, with the first band taking to the stage at 11.30am and music finishing by 11pm.
There will also be a fully stocked bar served by Beartown Brewery, along with the Square Pizza Company and the usual festival fayre.
To make getting to and from the event easier, a shuttle bus will be running between Waters Green and the festival site on Buxton Old Road.
Buses will run around every 20 minutes between 10am and midnight, priced at £2.
Tickets for the festival itself, priced at £25 for adults, can be purchased online here.
