An ethereal, reflective new piece of music has been released by a Macclesfield musician.

Aerynn has released the three-minute piece Light With You today.

With a "breathtaking voice" that "lulls you into a blissful trance", Aerynn is an American-born singer-songwriter creating music in Macclesfield.

Socially-awkward and shy, but with no qualms about singing vulnerable and real songs to others, songwriting has always been Aerynn's therapy as a process to feel less alone in this strange world.

Aerynn's hope is that her songs will spark an emotional response and inspire others like her to feel less alone, too.

Light With You is her latest single, and can be listened to by clicking the play button at the top of this article.

Aerynn's ethereal vocals, paired with meticulous, detailed production, create a sonic world that is both intimate and expansive. Building on the emotive storytelling of their recent single Gift, Light With You brings in guitars, cellos, piano to blend elements of fantasy, Disney-inspired wonder, and cinematic grandeur.

The Macclesfield resident and singer-songwriter casts a warm glow with the release of her heartfelt new song, Light With You. The new release is the second glimpse into Aerynn's highly-anticipated album, See In The Dark, slated for release this spring.

Aerynn's upcoming album is a heartfelt collaboration with producer Mark Winterburn, who has created stunning aural worldscapes for Aerynn's songs to reside in.

The fully-produced 14 song album is in stark contrast to Aerynn's previous all-acoustic EP, and promises to be a sonic journey of reflection and confession, hope and heartache, each song telling a personal tale that resonates universally with a thread of truth, inviting listeners to embark on an introspective journey of their own.

It is a delicate balance of dark and light, centred in an authenticity that has become Aerynn's signature, with Light With You serving as a luminescent guide.

A music video for the new single will be filmed next week.

Speaking on social media: Aerynn said: "LIGHT WITH YOU is out into the world TODAY! It's no longer mine, it is with you."

"Where will you take it? Which spaces will it illuminate? In what scenery will it be a soundtrack?

"Download Light With You: https://aerynn.com/music. Stream: https://open.spotify.com/track/53y7ZNOoSl7JIkcsT0d2mE...

"Thank you to each future listener, I hope Light With You is a lamp at your feet!"

"Thanks most to those who have lit the way for this song to its current place on the journey."

Having performed in theatres, clubs, pubs, festivals, forests, coffee shops, bars, boat yards, living rooms, streets, churches, meadows, marketplaces and even a former bordello, she enjoys exploring acoustic spaces and audiences of all kinds.

Previous performances of note include Macclesfield's Barnaby Festival, Leek Arts Festival, Leek Blues and Americana Festival, Middlewich Folk And Boat Festival, Dublin's YouBloom Festival, Regional Finals of the OpenMicUK Songwriting Contest at Northern Royal College of Music, the Manchester Americana Festival, and transcending genres, an opening slot for punk legends Agent Orange.

Previous single Four Places was a Finalist in the 2022 UK Songwriting Contest, the top 2% of thousands of entries.

Aerynn, who most recently performed in Macclesfield at Cinemac Live last Saturday, can be followed on Facebook and Instagram.
